At NSW Golf Carts, we are committed to providing quality products and professional service. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, repairs, and exchanges in accordance with Australian law.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
2. Change of Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns under the following conditions:
A return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
The product must be unused, unmodified, and in original condition.
The product must not show signs of wear, damage, misuse, or excessive operation.
Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
Change-of-mind returns are subject to inspection and approval.
Return freight costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
Custom-built orders, special-order items, clearance items, batteries, electrical components, installed parts, and modified products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
3. Large Items & Freight Returns
Due to the size and nature of golf carts and related equipment, returns are arranged via freight carrier pickup or scheduled return appointment.
Customers must ensure the product is properly secured and accessible for collection.
Any damage occurring due to improper packaging for return shipment may affect refund eligibility.
4. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
We may request photos or video evidence to assess the issue.
If a product is confirmed to have a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, you may choose a refund or replacement.
For minor faults, we may repair or replace the product within a reasonable timeframe.
If the issue is confirmed as a fault or our error, NSW Golf Carts will cover the reasonable return freight costs.
5. Inspection & Approval
All returned items are inspected upon receipt.
Refunds, repairs, or replacements are processed once inspection confirms eligibility under this policy.
We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product does not meet the conditions outlined above.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Refund processing time: 5–7 business days after inspection and approval.
Bank or payment provider processing times may vary and are outside our control.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a confirmed fault, major failure, or our error.
7. Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
For change-of-mind exchanges, requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
Any price differences must be paid before dispatch of the replacement item.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.
If an order has already been processed or shipped, cancellation may not be possible and the return conditions above will apply.
Custom or special-order items cannot be cancelled once production or processing has begun.
